My Thanksgiving

Our Family Thanksgiving is over and done with this year! We had an early Thanksgiving on the 20th! There were 13 adults and 17 grandchildren under our roof...and honestly...it went well...the kids were well behaved and so were the adults for the most part...only minor mishaps...but they were taken care of quickly and it was very pleasant! Mike seasoned the turkey and ham wonderfully and it's so hard to believe that you spend hours preparing and dinner is over with in minutes...it was worth it! We were only missing Jay who was on a hunt!

Lexi cut her first tooth within this last week and is working on an upper tooth...she's a little under the weather as of yesterday....not fun!
I am super thankful for my blessings....I truly have been born into a wonderful family...we are all true to the faith we've been born and raised into...we all have our struggles but we rise above and we help each other!!!
Last Night for FHE we started our endeavor of a family standard book! Mike and I were given this when we were married and I've always wanted to fill it out but we never have...so no better time than now and we have lots to do...I figure we can take each FHE night and add to it and it will always be a constant because things change as we grow but it will be a wonderful keepsake and heirloom to have as my children grow and hopefully they'll begin their own when they start a family of their own.
We have a friend in our ward who has introduced us to a product that reduces the oxidative stress in your cells...it's called Protandim. Mike's done a lot of research, and there is a lot so google and search yourself...but since I ...we...used to be into Herbalife and Reliv...I am more skeptical but Mike isn't ... the research is speaking for itself...Mike LIKED Herbalife and I Reliv...but this is just different and new and not the same MLM (multilevel marketing) that the others are...so we'll see where this takes us...we are just customers right now...we'd like to see how well we feel...and what I love best...is that this company has only 2 products...simple easy and affordable...can't beat that in this economy. I'll keep you posted on the product as we continue our research and use of the product.
Well, not too much else I can think of ... we aren't sure what we're going to do with our 4 day weekend...since our Thanksgiving is over...most likely we'll relax...Mike is under the weather and we'll hopefully take a nice drive to the mountains again and make a little yummy dinner...steak perhaps...and then mashed potatoes...lemon meringue pie...since I have to try the recipe I made again using fresh squeezed lemon juice instead of the bottled lemon juice...perhaps mike will prefer it over liz's pie...(lol)

Sounds like things are going well for you guys! Glad you had a great Thanksgiving Nothing better then family time :) Is the Protandim your taking from LifeVantage? My cousin goes all over the country selling and doing seminars for them. I am trying to convince my mother-in-law to take it. It has helped my brothers fiance who has reformatory arthritis big time! She no longer has to take pain meds it has helped her be out of pain. Anyway, enjoy your weekend :)
