Congestion

I woke up not too long ago with my stuffy nose....and then noticed Mike was up due to a sore throat...and then we swapped...I am up and he's asleep...I tried to go back but my mind started filling up with all sorts of random stuff. Mike put his resume up on Monster and applied for several positions with a company that could possible put him...us...in Albuquerque....then there's Christmas coming...yard work, leaves....remodeling, need updating the home...bills...church....ugh...thoughts thoughts thoughts...and I figure if I take the chance to spit out the ramblings in my mind I can hit the pillow and fall right to sleep(I'll let you know if it works)!
Jaimie had her end of season soccer party at Chuck E Cheese...she's such a silly thing...teared up when she didn't spend her tickets on a prize she really wanted! We talk often of patience and saving up for the things we really want, and not just having stuff to HAVE...it's a rought thing to get...especially at age 8.
Sydney was gone all day yesterday which made it sooo peaceful here...just Christie and I...I did have an interview with Social Services for Christie and Medicaid....It's going to be a stress reliever to have her approved. It was hard for me to apply...made it all the more real to me that she is a special needs child...
...Jaimie has a teammate in soccer whose sibling is Autistic...and her mom is named Amy as well...and they are from China...and Amy talked to me last night about the difficulty in having a kid with special needs...and she teared up and was letting me know she is here for me and will help me with Christie if I ever need a break! I am overwhelmed with the kindness of her and other moms I know who offer to help. Right back at you! It's just as rewarding to be able to assist you and give you all breaks as well! Right now I truly don't feel so overwhelmed it's not Christie right now that gets to me...however, I am willing to accept the help and want everyone to know what a blessing they are to me and my family.
Well, I think my medicine is kicking in and I am really feeling like I can sleep having relieved the pressure of my nose and thoughts.
luv luv
