Last Thurs - Sunday!

Thursday, my parents and Nicole flew here to celebrate and participate in Jaimie's baptism. They didn't get here from the Airport till about 7:30pm...and it was and exhausting day for all of us. The little fevers and sniffles are going around. Anyway, on Friday I arranged for my friend Rebekah to watch the girls so Mike and I could take them to DC...it was frigid cold...I was miserable....I swear we walked 6 miles...and only saw the White House, can't miss the Washington Monument and then we visited the American History Museum and the Holocaust Memorial Museum...we were running out of time thankfully and due to the cold we headed home. Mike made his delicious spicy creamy chicken pasta...and we were up late...mostly enjoying chilling and muching on popcorn and pumpkin pie. Saturday started fine.....I was able to get a new dress and some shirts and pants thanks to Nicole...she wouldn't let me leave the mall without something new. I am not one for clothes shopping...I only do it when I HAVE to...it wasn't so desperate yet, but anyway, I am glad cuz we found some good deals and they are cute! Things got a little crabby for Mike and I as we didn't communicate properly and didn't have the baptism clothes...and he was too busy grilling the chicken for the dinner after the baptism, and well to make a silly long story short, it was just a simple phone call away and we got the clothes. Nicole helped me get ready and I felt stunning. The baptism was beautiful...there was the room just full of our family friends....and the spirit was strong.
The rest of the day was just a mix of running around and mom and Nicole packing to go back to AZ....their flight left at 6am so they had to leave here by 3am. anywho...short but sweet visit.
Mike and Kassidy are sick so they stayed home from church and the rest of us went and that is that! Jaimie is the newest member in our ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!
