mommy dearest
I have had too many moments of insanity lately that I reminded Mike of the movie Mommy Dearest...how ironic it was on one of the tv channels and we watched parts of it. Anyway, I don't know much about the movie but from what I saw the lady was crazy...and I could see how my behavior at times is crazy.
In my defense, I haven't been feeling quite well...my body is just out of wack...and the other day...Sunday to be exact...we came home late from having dinner with the Seegers and I was on the phone to my mom and Mike was outside working on the AC/Heat pump unit thing and I walk by the bathroom to see Sydney on the pot with POOP all over the floor...my guess is she was trying to get their in time and obviously failed. I had a hard time remaining calm cleaning it up. I would have let her clean it up but no...we have tile and I was wanting it up fast so that it didn't soak in the grout...and ugh...she had a nice cold bath. I wasn't nice! I am just having it rough with her and potty training. She is trying and I just have to be consistent and allow for the accidents and not get so worked up!
I can't think of anything grand...oh yes...Jaimie lost another tooth...just yesterday and she can ride a two wheeler....her bicycle without training wheels. We never got the girls real bikes until we bought our home and even then it wasn't until Christmas...and anyway, it's dang cute how excited she is about that!
I love my girls and how they handle "Crazy mommy" and my hubby who realizes that women are just dramatic and I never have to worry he'll leave me for any other woman cuz it's just more drama in that case...he doesn't want that!
Christie is growing literally...she has gained weight...and length...not sure the measurements...but she's even increased her usage of consonants. She's still waiting on Occupational therapy but I am working with her and am noticing small improvements...baby steps!!!
Well, it's almost midnight...and I am POOPED! xoxoxoxo

I am going through the same thing with Kaylee (4 1/2--way too old to be pooping and peeing in the underwear)! I ask myself every day, is it EVER going to end?? My mom says "When they are 5 it will all work itself out", but I don't think I see that happening in the next 6 months.
If I could (without feeling so guilty about it), I would send my kids to daycare between 2 1/2 and 3 1/2--just to get potty-trained!! I hear moms say "Oh, I didn't have to do anything, they did it all at daycare!" It makes me so mad--I don't think you should be allowed to be called mom unless you had a major part in the potty-training!
Sorry about the soap-box, I just totally know what you're going through.
Ya I am never good at the 'accidents' from potty traing makes me go crazy too :)
Oh how I love you! I am a little crazy at times too, and I just want to scream and run away for a while. I too am lucky for my family that still loves me when I flip out. Miss you!
