1st day of school 2011-2012 year!

The girls were up at 6:30 am...and were ready and way to anxious to get the school year going! They even had time to watch a movie! lol

The girls have have a uniform guideline to follow...they can wear polo or regular shirts but they can't have anything on them as far as designs unless it's their school logo...and shirt colors have to be white, blue (any blue works), grey, or black...and pants can be khaki, black or jean...plain. I like that...keeps the cost down..but so boring!

School bus for the older 3 didn't show...why!?!? because bus stop changed. My bad! at least I wasn't the only parent that didn't read the actual address for the bus stop. Once I finished taking the older 3 to school I found that the actual bus stop is .7 miles away from where we had it last year and in the opposite direction from the school!?!? Make's no sense and we are zoned to not even have a bus come but since there is construction still planned this year we get one...our school is .93 miles from our home so why in the heck would I make them walk to the bus stop...they'd be super close to school just walking the other way...so looks like we'll be getting some workout in everyday! I think Transportation did this on purpose...so we'd say screw it and they wouldn't have to have a bus come. I am working to get ALL my girls on the same bus as Christie's and then I'll just pick them up from school...OR...we ride our bikes to school...OR...they just ride the bus home and they walk or I pick em up from the bus stop...just ridiculous though! seriously! Anyway, I haven't yet talked to Transportation so we'll see what's up and why the stupid change in bus stop.

So...sweet day...new school year...a 5th grader, 4th grader, 1st grader, and a pre -k all at the same school! This is Jaimie's last year in elementary school too! :0

Christie wouldn't look at me...she was clapping excitedly when the bus came! yeah!
