Sick Babies

This is Christie @ 1pm after she took her first dose of medicine. Poor thing...she and Lexi had some rough nights...last night being the final straw that sent us running to the doc. first thing this morning. We contemplated going to the ER last night but I felt it'd be okay till morning and I am glad we didn't...both girls weren't as sick as we suspected. They have croup ... and really they don't do much for that except mommy daddy loves...and home remedy things like...run a hot shower and stand in the bathroom with the steam...or go outside in the cold air and breath it in for 5-10 minutes....or vicks vapor rub on the feet and little on the chest and back...and/or warm honey and lemon and raise the bed to help with post nasal drainage. Anyway, dr. gave Christie a shot of something...forget the name, but it helped reduce the inflammation in her respiratory area and then prescribed something similar for Lexi and then both got the same rx for cold medicine. First time I ever had a dr. do that for VIRAL sickness...and am thankful for the medicine...they are acting so much better and I am hoping tonight will be less stressful for all of us.

I have a sweet friend and co-leader in Activity Days for the youth girls ages 10 and 11 in our ward who brought over dinner tonight for us. Shirley really helped me out and I am so thankful for her...she goes all out and spared no expense in bringing us a delicious meal! I feel so grateful for thoughtful and generous friends!

Well, off to cuddle with my sweetheart after we tuck our babies into bed!
