Courageous Jaimie

She ran for Class President...I know it say's Vice President but she misunderstood the whole thing .... their class was choosing two Presidents who would choose a VP...anyway she wrote a speech and ran with about 9 other students but she didn't win...:( it was so upsetting for her especially since one student said he would vote for her to her face and then he didn't and she took that the hardest...crying as she told me "HE LIED TO MY FACE!"... her feelings are so pure and real and I just had to listen and let her feel it and then explain and help her be a grateful loser and move on and be supportive. Poor thing though...it's hard to not want to be so defensive for your children when they hurt! I am so proud of her though...she's a winner for even running!!!
