YIPPEE SKIPPEE

I am just so happy...right now it's the time to just be happy!!!

As of the last few weeks Christie has had some major improvements...her consonant sounds have improved...she babbles her b's and m's and g's and yesterday she started mimicking...she copied Mike in shaking her head yes and no....that's awesome!! Here in NV she's getting so much more therapy than she was able to receive in VA...and since I can only take advantage of it free till she's 3 thru Early Intervention she's getting therapy twice a week and 3x every other week. After 3 she goes into the School system....I will have to see what is offered thru Child Find/School system and once I know I can look into getting her more therapy. So far no luck in getting her long term care and a caregiver like I had in VA...but I'll know more Tuesday I have a phone apt. with Social Services.

Lexi woke up this morning and decided to scoot...she made her way inch worm style to a bottle of water. She's so funny...she's a great baby and really knows how to work this momma. She's Sydney's little love bug...Syd loves to pick her up and bring her to me...."mom, Lexi wants you"...kind of scary since Lexi is so big and almost the size of Syd...lol not really but she's probably 1/2 the weight Syd is.

Well, I best get I need to make some breakfast.

Oh before I forget we met new friends yesterday! Helen and Nate Blood and 2 of their 4 kids. Helen knows Heather Williams a girlfriend from SJ I grew up with so Heather told us of eachother and Helen contacted me thru Facebook and we've been chatting and then I invited them to dinner and walla...fast friends...they are super neat and adorable people and I am so happy to get to know them more and associate with them!
