A Great Visit

Mike is now gone again after a 9 day visit. The day before he came he informed us our offer on a home was accepted and this weekend was the inspection...only a few minor things found...tomorrow he'll find out more and hopefully nothing is a deal breaker and we can close and be together sooner than later! We had lots of fun with Dad...time flew because we had fun. Thursday we went into DC one last time got some pics...a final family one in front of the White House...I will post those soon.

Friday Mike and I went on a date thanks to Stella and Chris Read...I mean UNCLE Chris and AUNT Stella. We went to watch Avatar...it was a really good movie. I had fun holding hands with Mike and was totally into the movie. Saturday we spent all day out and about starting with a visit to the DC Temple with our Bristow Ward Primary activity. Then we went to the mall and got home just in time to celebrate with a family dinner/bday party for Sydney and Kassidy. Daddy grilled steaks and Aunt Stella and Uncle Chris came over and we ate and sang "Happy Birthday" and they opened gifts and their bday cake was RED VELVET CHEESECAKE from the Cheesecake factory...oh it was so divine!

Girls made bank with giftcards from Grammie and Nana Holly and Sydney got a Tinkerbell doll from Stella and Chris and a tinkerbell makeup kit from (us)mom and dad and Kassidy got $20 from Chris and Stella and the BRATZ movie from (us)mom and dad! Depending on how things go we'll have a small bday party with friends later on next week!

Sunday was great...we made it to church on time and got our temple recommend interviews and went home...snagged a nap...and then went to the Skidmore's for a Hawaiian dinner ...the Bullock family was invited too and we had such an awesome time...it was so creative and fun! Brittany and Matt Skidmore made and Island theme in the middle of the tables full of food...Brittany said she'd email me a pic she took so I will post it when she sends it...anyway we didn't leave their home till like 10pm...we had an amazing time! THANKS!!

Today we went to Lunch with Dale, Frankie and Gary...Mike's ole Micron coworkers...it was sweet to be with good friends and ones that really care for Mike too...I got a good pic of the 4 of them and I'll post...Gary treated us...snagged the tab...and we are thankful for the good time with them today...Seemed like once we got home Mike had just a few hours left before he had to leave for the airport...but we all took him and got a good kiss goodbye...well a see ya later...a much better send off for me than the one before!
