LIFE W/O HUBBY - DAY 3

It's 5am...I've been up for about 30 minutes with my youngest 3...Lexi is asleep again...Sydney just said the cutest thing...the motion sensored light in the back yard came on and she looked out the window and said..."it's snowing again, Jesus like it cuz it tickles him, it tickles his little feet"...and then something about snowing makes it look perfect. She's getting better I can tell because she's a TALKER...

I gave my girls their day 2 medicine...Christie is really on day 1 1/2...she only had a 1/2 dose yesterday.
I've got some anxiety about the weather...it's expected to be windy...knocking over trees and causing power outages...I pray that it doesn't happen at all...or that if so, it doesn't happen to us and that those without can get power back quickly...and I pray for those who have been without for awhile...
Mike called me at @1:30 am. It's was only 10:30pm for him...he text'd me asking if I was awake...I was... only cuz I had the phone right by my ear awaiting a call or text...I enjoyed hearing his voice. Miss him...
well...I need to get back to bed, had to write what Syd said or I'd forget...more later!

It's later...8:30pm...Sydney fell asleep earlier and just woke up so bedtime for her isn't anytime soon...ugh...what do I care...she's pretty good at taking care of herself...as long as there is a movie on and a drink handy. All my kids did pretty well today...I can't recall a fight or drama. We played the Wii today and I got some packing done in the crawl space....I had a cat nap...hmmmm...did laundry....made crockpot bbq chicken...yummy....and made mud buddies chex mix, which was a nice little treat! Christie had a rough morning...it wasn't until I talked to my friend Emily(who is a nurse) if it was okay to give Christie ibuprofen along with her antibiotic and she said yes...then she went down for a nap and since then life she's been easier to be around! lol!
My kids are growing up fast, they are smart and beautiful and I enjoy getting to have meaningful conversations with them.
Today Lexi pooted and Sydney asked why do we poot!?!? I told her it's because we get air in our tummies and pooting out our rear was the way Heavenly Father made our bodies so we can get the air out! lol...she liked that answer!!!
Can't believe Lexi is almost 8 weeks old.
Been pretty busy with just kids and such that I don't focus on the missing part of Mike being gone...I get to speak with him morning and night...soooo it's not so bad...I'm a Hallmark kind of gal...Lifetime tv drama...I love that and hate that about myself...anyway, my point in mentioning that is lately I've come across some neat insights into marriage that my spirit new but I didn't know...make sense...it felt so right to learn and some stuff was ya...I know that...but anyway it's given me HOPE...hope to make my marriage what God has meant for it to be! If you want to know more HERE is the site to read! I am thankful for Mike and what he teaches me and the patience he has with me...think about how a man must feel especially with the hormonal changes we women have...anyway, he's fairly patient. Well, I've got to get my house to bed before I can go to bed!
Oh...girls are out of school rest of the week...and no school Monday since it was an original day off for Pres. day... crazy...I'm enjoying them though!
goodnite!
