July 23rd took me to SJ for Pioneer Days...I stayed there until August 7th...it was really fun and eventful! My kids enjoyed swimming, playing with cousins, getting to be outside (moreso than here in Mesa where it gets too hot unless you're in the pool), and the animals at Megan and Larry's! I enjoyed learning to play NERTZ...stayed up late many nights playing that game...I got to see many of my High School Friends...I even went and stayed several days with Tiffany Tanner Fellows. My kids really enjoyed that as did I and I appreciate all her and her husband Justin did to make it happen...they spoiled me and my kids and I can't wait for them to come visit me in VA...October right!?!?!? I made a quick day trip to see Nana and one of those days Grandma and Uncle Lawrence came to see me and we had a nice little bbq. Love and enjoyed seeing all the uncles, aunts and cousins! I am sorry I didn't say goodbye like I promised...please forgive me!
Made it back to Mesa. Megan and Larry came too and by Sunday night Tiffany, Paul and Ady made it here. Yeah...so every sibling was here except Reilly and we had dinner and got all the grandkids in for a picture....wasn't so easy...good job Nicole. Anyway, we had a great time even though we had a stinking housefull of kids! Nicole, Megan, Tiffany, Liz and I played Nertz...I got to feeling icky...and had runs and vomited! TMI...LOL! anyway, joys of pregnancy...and I just needed to go to bed...I had a terrible dream...about being on a girls vacation and being robbed but being in a secluded place where there was no law enforcement to call...and even had a hard time getting a hold of my bank and credit card people to tell them my cards were stolen. ugh. Anyway, thank heavens it was just a dream...and I am up early...enjoying some peace and quiet while I can...
I have an OB apt today...my last one here in AZ...and I have 15 days to go before I see my hubby and home! I got to ichat with him last night...soo handsome he is and how terribly lonesome I am for him! I am giddy for the time to fly but am going to try to live it up these last few weeks and enjoy my moments with my sweet family and friends!
that's what has been up in a nutshell...and I am halfway thru this pregnancy...been feeling the baby move for several weeks now...it's a joy! Loving the name Lexi Lou, but my girls don't like Lou..well Jaimie doesn't...but I like Lexi...we'll see if that gets to stick...I have to convince my girls and Mike...
