Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

We are so thankful for this opportunity to let all of you know how precious you are to our lives! We are honored to have such wonderful family and friends!
We know this is a cheesy way of sending our Holiday Love to you, we have no excuses, just choosing to go the cheap route, and the money we save goes toward our vacation to Florida!
We'll be kickin in the New Year with dear friends the Doyel family...they own a beach house at Indian Rocks Beach and then we'll be going to Disneyworld courtesy of Mom Holly who'll be flying in to join us as well for a whole week of Disneyworld fun! Thanks, Thanks, Thanks!!!
We truly wish the best for you this Christmas Season and hope your New Year starts off strong! We are thankful for the family and friends that surround us with love and support. This year was full of all sorts of twists and turns that we would have never thought could happen to us! Our little baby Christie had an MRI that showed and underdeveloped part of her brain (corpus callosum). She is 14 months old and is such a joy to our lives. She is probably at the develpmental stage of a 6 month old, so for me it's bittersweet...I still get to have my baby a bit longer, but it'd be great if she were where she should be. She brings a tenderness to our lives and is a constant reminder of our purpose on this earthly life. I am constantly reminded of my Saviors love for me and all of us! We are still in the process of genetic testing, looking structurally into her DNA for more clues to speed her development. Christie does get Occupational Therapy twice a month and we love Emi and are thankful for her talent and love for Christie. We promise to keep you all updated on any new news. She does have attitude and has 6 teeth and 4 molars trying to come in...and her first victim was Sydney...as of this morning.
Sydney is 3, turns 4 in March...she gets into everything!!! She's what Daddy calls "his boy!" She's got the middle child syndrome. It does help though that she's in preschool and has her little friends she has playdates with often. Super dooper thanks to Molly and Nolan...two of her favorite people...although I wonder if the feeling is reciprocated...she can be pretty bossy and grouchy...she reminds me of some creature off of Sesame Street...he lives in a garbage can as well! Lately some of her favorite things is mommy's lipstick!!! She is easily entertains herself, so that's helpful to mommy! Sydney can down an apple and as of late she loves popcorn and juice!!!
Kassidy is 6, 7 in April...she is the diva of our home! She is blessed with grace and could be a singer or actress someday! She is into music...Hannah Montana, and that sort of stuff...Jonas Brothers...and she like's boys?!?!?!? She doesn't talk too much about it...but sometimes I overhear...at least she still gets embarrassed...but it's part of the life process right!
Jaimie just turned 8 in October and was baptized! She was super surprised when Grandma Ruthie and Papa Price and Aunt Nicole made a special trip to come for her baptism. She still needs a birthday party though...mom's fault! Jaimie is doing well in school especially in writing and we may have a little novelist here!!! Jaimie is a big help to mom, I ask a lot of her, and I am thankful to her! Some fun little facts about Jaimie...she loves to buy erasers at the school store, she is an organizer, and she's a thinker!
Mike has had some big changes at work...he was moved to a different position within Micron and has done well with that...challenging, but in my opinion rised to the challenge given him. He's been going to school, courtesy of Micron and will be able to become a CFM (certified facilities manager) soon! I think that's correct! He was able to go to Jimmey Buffet this year with his buddy Dave Doyel...and he's gotten our family as well as others hooked on stickey rice and his bbq chicken thighs. He's made his own Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce...it's a hit! He talks often of missing food from AZ...like Filiberto's...He's a hard workin man and we girls are proud of him! Oh, and he is hooked on REI store, and scouting. His calling at church is with the 12 yr. old scouts...and it's been great for him!
Me...well, I don't take care of myself like I should...I'm up too late writing this when I should be in bed. I have surrounded myself with great friends though...I am forever grateful for all who have come to my aid and supported me especially as we learn new things with Christie and when we need sitters we have plenty willing to help! One of my highlights was seeing my parents and Nicole...thanks so much for coming. I completed my first year at the gym I joined...haven't lost a pound, but I have a whole New Year to look forward to repeating that goal of losing weight! I also am a part of a mommy group thru church in which we alternate teaching preschool! It's rewarding and I usually am glad when my turn is over! Well, I can't think of much more to say...other than Mike and I did get into RELIV...we are distributers, this company has a patented nutritional product. We started Christie on it and now all of us are on it (except Sydney, amazingly I can't get that girl to give it a try)! We'll keep you posted on our findings. I can say that given I am sick and fighting a sinus infection and something with my glands I still have stamina which I know without it I'd be knocked out and on high doses of Nyquil or something...so I'm sure the RELIV has something to do with it!
I wish the best with you in all you set out to achieve this New Year and my wish is that we remember CHRIST in Christmas and all the blessings we receive when we remember HIM and try to be more like HIM!
Love to you all!
The Holly family
PS...special shout out to Cristie Jensen who photographed the blog picture and many other's I'll share with you soon

Great year update. I too am cheap and lazy and am not sending out anything. I even have a Christmas card made but never got around to printing it. Maybe next year :)
