Florida vacation thus far

Wow, I can't believe it's been almost a week since we took off to come to Florida...we left Sunday the 21st but didn't arrive until Wednesday!  We've had a great time so far...our Christmas was grand...and we saw some wonderful lights and spent many hours already at the beach...they have such great shells...and a few gross spongy things...it's definitely different from Nags Head...but...and so far I haven't decided which I like best...it's definitely different.

Today was the first time we didn't go to the beach since we spent the day at Madeira Beach and John's Pass Village.  There is a boardwalk full of shops and stuff...we had fun!  We ate at a really good place and tried Alligator....tasted like chicken!  We went to a Bird Sanctuary and it was cool...saw a vulture and owl up close and that was exciting...all the other birds were just not so interesting.  Kassidy had gone up ahead of us not paying attention and was scared she was lost...I too got pretty scared until I saw her pink shirt come running down the boardwalk...she was crying.  When I put her to bed tonight she said "mom, when I lost you guys today, nobody cared about me when they saw me crying!"  I had to explain to her that it wasn't that long of time from when she was lost to when she found us but if it had been I am sure somebody would have cared!  Jaimie is so thrify when it comes to shopping...we went into lots of stores and she still couldn't find something she wanted to spend money on!  She's a lot like me...sure love her!  Christie was such a great baby today...she normally is...she handled our outing like a pro.   Sydney did to...at lunch today though she let out a major burp...pretty embarrassing...

Well, that's the most I can think of right now...I'm out!
