Sweet Nothings

We had a fun 4th of July. We pretty much chilled all day...wanted to go to Kings Dominion, but the chance of rain was too high so we didn't want to risk going all that way to just be rained on. My friends, the Davidson's were going to the local Volunteer Fire Department to celebrate with them and go see the towns fireworks within walking distance so we hung with them. Amazing firework show. We were totally drenched from being rained on, but it was still fun. It was soo sad to see the litter that was around after it was over...Michelle, Bray and I cleaned up just the little hill area where we sat and felt pretty good about being good citizens...just sad that some were too lazy to clean up their trash...so much for taking care of the country you live in heh!?! Crazy lady here depicts how I feel alot of the time. I am learning self soothing techniques and how to not let myself be troubled by the little things...but I saw this and said...yep...that's how I feel!
K so this picture is what it's like to have a Sydney Holly! She is the equivilent of about 4 kids...she is sooo rambunctious! Don't know what to do with her but wouldn't know what I'd do without her...sooo love her!
Ah....the overwhelmed...just like the crazy lady pulling her hair out...this is me by the end of the day...pooped and tired. I create most of my drama so like I mentioned above...I am working on self soothing techniques....working out. It truly does make me feel happier...and my kids are starting to join in...and I also saw the Oprah show with Jessica Seinfeld ....her Deceptively Delicious Cookbook is out and I want it...but on Oprah's website you can get 6 or more of her recipes and I am going to start making better meals. Especially will feel better about eating dessert when you've got pureed spinach in it!!!YUMMY! Christie see's the eye doc Monday where we will go over the MRI results. so yippee...I'll keep you posted.

Sorry to my family for the drama of coming or not coming for a visit...but we are just going to pay a little to extend the flight for another year...perhaps we'll be able to help someone come here or who knows...I just won't say anything again till decision is final...that way no hopes get dashed. Sure do miss you all! Jaimie sure has had a rough time not going on vacation to visit her family in Arizona. She pretty much is dramatic about it, but I have to remind her that we will go someday soon...but for now it's not feasible to go and our vacation is just chilling as a family and going to Kings Dominion a lot!
