Totally wierd and crazy

So we're watching a movie as a family tonight...Sydney put on Horton Hears a Who! and this video has extra animated Dr. Seuss stories the one both Mike and I are a bit freaked out with(more me than Mike) is Horton Hatches the Egg! There is this part where Horton is on a boat in the ocean on top of the tree...you'll have to watch it to know why...but it then shows a fish that is astonished to see an Elephant on a tree, on a boat...and then the fish say's "Now I've seen everything" and pulls out a gun and shoots himself in the head! WTF!!!!meaning what the freak!!!!
I am a bit floored...more disturbed...soo unnecessary...
am I overreacting here!?!?!!?!? I don't think so, and don't want my kids seeing that crap! What's up with kids movies needing to have adult humor...or phrases like "You're ruining my life"....found in a barbie movie!!! BUGGGGG.....
Now I don't want to be that psycho parent who doesn't let their kid watch The Little Mermaid because the picture of the castle on the cover looks like a penis (not anymore since it was changed) but seriously...I think a fish shooting itself in the head is a bit too much...ugh!
