Our Newest Family Member

Christie Morgan Holly is our newest member of our family! She was born on October 8th at 3:06pm. Weighing 7lbs 13oz and 19 3/4 inches long.

I went in on the 8th which was her due date to be induced. I may have had her that day naturally anyway but wanted to make sure she came that day! Mike didn't like that, but my body was ready for her anyway and the induction was smooth sailing. I progressed really fast and she came out in 4 minutes with only 3 pushes. Mike says if we have another I better beat that record and have it in less than 4 minutes or I cannot come back home! Silly dude!

She is our 2nd baby to be born sunny side up! Must be something in the Virginia water....Jaimie and Kassidy weren't like that. Anyway both Sydney and Christie came fast regardless.

Christie was named by her daddy who named her after his beloved brother who is in Heaven! If I am correct he was a disc jockey in Sierra Vista and had a radio name Chris Morgan. So to honor him, we went with Christie...he was deciding on just Chris but since we have 3 other girls with the E sound at the end we thought we'd keep the tradition...even though we never intended it to be that way! Anyhoo...she's here...yippee...now if my boobs will ajdust...I am sooo sore!
