My Vacation

I had a wonderful vacation in AZ. I've been home for a week now but it feels like months.

Tiffany picked me up from the airport Aug. 17th and the following day we went to St. Johns. It was so fun seeing all my family...I held baby Kendall and just longed for my baby to get here. Nana and I stayed in a Motel...it was fun to get to visit with her.

On Sunday Larry blessed Kendall and Reilly reported on his mission. He sang a wonderful song about Canada...he has an amazing voice. He started EAC the next day! I got to visit him when I went to Pima to be with Nana and Mom Holly...he has already been broken in from mission life....kissed a girl!!!

Monday and Tuesday were fun...I was up early and headed into Mesa with Nicole and the girls...Nicole let me use her new truck while she was at work so I could visit friends and shop...Monday I don't really recall what I did...I didn't quite know what to do with myself. Nicole and I did go to school with the twins for lunch...it was fun seeing them at school! I saw Rebecca Lee...although she isn't Lee anymore...can't remember her last name...I know her hubby's first name just not the last. Anyway she has 3 boys and it was fun chatting with her. Tiffany and I did go shopping that afternoon...I really wanted to find another prego outfit to get me through the last month. We had fun...laughed and I ended up with more outfits for the new baby and one for me! I also visited with Genevieve Allen that night...had fun seeing how much her kids have grown and Genevieve..You look great and sure love ya!!!

Tuesday was my temple day...I ran into Sis. Gray and her son Blake I believe who just came home from his mission as well...she gave me Leslie's phone # and I chatted with her for a bit later that day! I visited with Michelle Sanders and her kids...so dang cute their family is! Wish I could have visited longer too...but I needed to get Nicole and get to the twins school for lunch...then after lunch did a session at the Temple. It was so wonderful! One thing that wasn't though was the weather! I thought I'd prefer AZ weather to VA's humidity...but I don't...not anymore...it was rotten...perhaps being pregnant doesn't help...but I had swollen feet and ankles while there and once I came home...gone!!!

Tuesday we had fun visiting with Logan and Liz eating Pizza. Anyway Tiffany and Paul were heading back to Utah the next day so we wanted to hang out! Sure had fun...and so enjoy my brothers and sisters (inlaws included as just the brothers and sisters statement).

Wednesday I got a rental car and headed to Carefree Anthem area to visit Jenn Goodman. I stayed all day there and we talked and talked and had lunch and dinner together and shopped at the Anthem mall...mostly buying baby clothes and back to school clothes for Jaimie and Kassidy.

Thursday I headed to Pima...it was a nice drive since I got to belt out singing to the CD Nicole and I made of all my fav. songs we got off itunes...I had a wonderful time with Nana and Terri...they spoiled me rotten and I also got to spoil Reilly a bit. I left Friday late afternoon from Pima and since Jay had taken the twins camping it was just Nicole and I that night so we got Subway and stayed up watching movies...

Saturday we were up and ready to have a girls day just doing whatever and no kids...so we returned the rental car..and went and got pedicures...best ones we've had ever!!! Then we went to the theatre and watched Bourne Ultimatum...it was sooo good! Then we went out to eat...and then did some shopping for me so I could bring back to VA some Filiburto's (spelling is off...I am sure) anyway...he digs their hot sauce and burrito's... then once done we went to pick up Liz and headed to the theatre for HAIRSPRAY. It was so cute...that was Nicole's 5th viewing of the movie...it was good but not that good! I guess I just don't appreciate it as much as others. It really is a feel good movie though and I really had fun watching it.

Nicole and I stayed the night at Logan and Liz's and we had fun playing Desperate Housewife game which we all sucked at! Anyway...I had to be up early to leave for the airport. I had a long flight which included a layover in Chicago...but thanks to Mike's IPOD I got hooked on HERO'S and spent my time watching Season 1.

I was giddy seeing my girls and Mike again...Sydney got a little chubbier since I left and Mike rearranged the living room and kitchen.

I had a blast with everyone but wish I could have had my family with me and visited with them longer.

My mom comes in October though to help out when this baby comes and mom Holly comes in November.

I'll post some pictures here too! For all of you I didn't get to see...I am soo sorry and hope to see you someday soon! xoxoxo

I realize I didn't take many photo's as I thought I did. Shame on me...I'll add the few of me and my brothers and sisters...and more I'll add to another post! xoxo
