It's been awhile

It's been awhile since I've last written. I have been pretty busy with cleaning, appointments, and naps.
I only have about a week and a half before my due date...and I have a scheduled induction for that date too...just to make sure she comes that day since my mom will be here and all. Mike doesn't think I should be induced, but I feel I will have this baby before then anyway so I am not worried.
Nothing too new going on here other than the preparations for the baby. Last Saturday Mike got most of the garage cleaned and somewhat organized. I did cleaning of the blinds and vents of all the dust....so I am happy about that. I just need to get the crib in my room and a new bed for Sydney. Meant to do that long ago, but we've been busy and Sydney doesn't care for the crib anyway so it won't be rough on her to adjust to something new...she'll end up in my bed like she always does for awhile until she gets used to her own bed.
Jaimie and Kassidy are doing well in school...we had a great back to school nite where Mike and I got to visit and learn more about what they are learning this year. Looking forward to Kassidy reading! Jaimie does well with her reading...just doesn't try to really sound out the words she doesn't know and makes up a word instead.
Sydney is making sense with her words...she's pretty good with some new phrases like..."I'm scared" , "stop it"...."I wuv you"...she does well without her sisters here too...she and I have fun and nap together and she plays well by herself...good at pretend play. Lately all she wants to wear is Kassidy's dresses...she's a hoot!
Mike is doing well...we love our home and yard...we've got lots to do with both...but in due time it'll all fall together the way we want...and then watch..we move...but whatever...it's fun having a home. We have acorns dropping from the trees now and it's really quite loud at night time...feels like reindeer prancing on the rooftop...pretty weird that such small things make a loud sound...and can be pretty dangerous at times when we're outside...my friend almost got clogged by one as it fell off the tree..bounced down from the roof and landed near her...bet it could leave quite a bump on the noggin!
Well, that's about all there is to tell...girls have a primary program this Sunday...Jaimie has her 7th birthday soon and then never know..may have a baby before or after her bday!
Yippee...loads of fun...oh, and my mom comes on Jaimie's bday too!
