VISITORS

It's been awhile since I last posted anything. I've been completely pooped after having family and friends visiting since the 15th and last Sunday was the last of our visitors.
Nicole and the twins, Savannah and Shayde flew in at 1am on the 15th...we slept, woke, and drove to Kings Dominion and spent the day there. That was lots of fun. The kids were able to see Dora and Boots...unfortunately Scooby Doo and Sponge Bob and Patrick were not available. I do have pictures for those of you who asked...but I have to wait for Mike to help me download them from the camera to computer.
On the 16th Nicole and I just let the kids play outside and we chilled...it was a nice day to relax since we were still tired from the previous day. Kids enjoyed playing in the sprinklers and riding the Barbie Jeeps. We had to shoo off the neighbor girls since whenever they came over an argument arose...it was nice for our girls to just play together...it has been a long time since we last saw them.
Sunday...Father's Day...was nice...just Nicole and I went...Mike volunteered to watch the kids and we went to Sacrament meeting. Then we all had a good nap and drove into DC and we got pics in front of the White House!!! We didn't go far just saw the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial Wall, and World War II Memorial!! The kids seemed more interested in playing in the water at the WWII memorial and seeing fireflies and squirrels.
Monday and Tuesday went by like a blur...I don't really remember what we did....oh ya...we went to Chuck E Cheese on Monday and had a blast there...then on Tuesday we went to Kids N Motion...a small little place where kids can jump on the blow up moon bounce things and do gymnastic like stuff! We then just chilled...did some shopping...but not like we could have done without kids...and then it was time for Nicole to pack and get ready to leave by 3:30am the next morning for the airport.
I did learn to get to BWI by myself!!!
My great friend Emily came over with her kids Alayna and Jace to spend the rest of the week with us and she was there to watch the kids as I left so early to take Nicole to the airport. My friend Stella came with me as well to help me make the drive back from BWI so I wouldn't have to be alone. I have great friends!!!
I spent the rest of the week with Emily...we scrapbooked, went to Kings Dominion again(have season passes) and played SkipBo!!! She left on Saturday and then my friend Beckie...who is pregnant as well and due about a week before me came to visit from PA!!! Our friend Shanna and her family were spending their last Sunday in VA before they made their move back to Utah! We were able to say our goodbye's to Shanna on Sunday and Beckie went back to PA. Soo....it was so fun having company but I still am pooped and haven't quite been able to catch up on my sleep! Too many late nights with all of them playing cards!!!
